Book or Card - ID Required for Canada: Canadian
law requires that all persons entering Canada carry both proof of citizenship
and proof of identity. A valid U.S. passport, passport card, or NEXUS
card satisfies these requirements for U.S. citizens. To reenter the
United States from Canada, U.S. citizens must present either a U.S.
passport, passport card, NEXUS card, or Enhanced Drivers License. Non-citizens
of the United States should carry a passport, visa, and necessary traveling
papers to insure entry into Canada and return to the United States.
For further inquiries regarding this, please reference http://travel.state.gov/passport.
U.S. Passport Card - The new wallet-size
U.S. Passport Card is a travel document that can be used to enter the
United States from Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Bermuda at land
border crossings or sea ports-of-entry. Note that it cannot be sued
for international air travel. The passport card is more convenient and
less expensive than a passport book.
Safety and Maintenance -
Lakefront Lines has been awarded the highest safety and maintenance
ratings possible from the US Department of Transportation and the U.S.
Military. Our fleet is inspected yearly and they are the safest motor
coaches on the road.
