Lakefront Lines, Inc.
must adhere to changes presented by hotels, attractions, restaurants,
etc. In turn, we must ask you to comply with the policies and procedures
set forth by our company due to these changes. The following revised
policies and procedures are effective as of January 1, 2008.
ONE-DAY TOUR RESERVATIONS
are confirmed upon receipt of a $50.00 deposit.
MULTI-DAY TOUR RESERVATIONS
are confirmed upon receipt of a $250.00 deposit.
We must receive a deposit
to confirm your tour. After receiving your initial deposit we will send
you a contract and itinerary along with a stamped, self-addressed envelope
in which to return your signed contract (white copy). Full payment is
due 14 days prior to departure date.
ADDITIONAL DEPOSITS
AND PAYMENTS may be required by hotels, attractions, restaurants,
theatres, etc. Once we have received notification from any hotel, restaurant,
theatre, or attraction regarding payment requirements, you will be notified.
At that time it will be necessary for us to request payment from you.
If your deposits and/or payments do not reach our office by the stated
due date, Lakefront Lines, Inc. will not be responsible for cancellations
by any hotel, attraction, theatre, restaurant, etc.
TICKETS: Full payment for a theatre,
show, boat, train, sporting event, special exhibition, etc., is usually
required at the time of reservation and is NON-REFUNDABLE. if
cancellation is allowed, the cut-off date varies with each package.
Please be accurate in your count when ordering tickets. Lakefront
Lines, Inc. will not be responsible for payment of tickets or securing
refunds.
FULL PAYMENT IS DUE
14 DAYS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE DATE FOR ALL TRIPS. Final payment can be cash, cashiers
check, or money order.
CONFIRMATION: In order for Lakefront Lines,
Inc. to provide you with the best possible trip, we must ask you for
a final count 7 days in advance of your trip. Restaurants, attractions,
etc., must have these counts to insure the proper preparation for your
passengers. PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE 7 DAYS PRIOR TO YOUR TRIP TO RECONFIRM
YOUR FINAL COUNT.
CANCELLATIONS: Cancellation policies regarding
each tour differ from one to another. Please refer to your contract
for the specific cancellation policy on that tour. Refunds
on late cancellations will be minus any monies we are unable to recover.
The Group Tour Department
at Lakefront Lines is aware of the fact that it is sometimes necessary
to cancel a passenger(s) on a trip for which the expense has already
been paid. While we understand that these last minute cancellations
are sometimes unavoidable, it is not always possible to refund monies
paid to us. We make every effort to secure refunds from attractions/restaurants/hotels,
etc., but this is a process that can take weeks, if not months, to complete.
As you are aware, ticket money is never refundable.
If we are successful in obtaining refunds, your trip will be reviewed
at that time for possible refunds or credits and you will be notified.
As valued customers, you
can be assured that we share your desire to secure refunds for your
group member(s) who have had to cancel. Thank you for your patience.
ONE-DAY TOURS: Generally, you have 30
days prior to your tour date to cancel for a full refund. Refer
to your contract for specific cancellation policies.
MULTI-DAY TOURS:
Generally, you have 45 days prior to your tour date to cancel
for a full refund. Refer to your contract for specific cancellation
policies.
