Following
your tour, taste their wines. Lunch will be served at the historic
White Inn, a charter member of the Duncan Hines
family of fine restaurants.
Following your
meal, tour the Inn which features a wide variety of décor
in each guest room.
Taste
several different wines at Roberian Winery. Learn
how to properly taste wine and receive a chart showing which areas
of the tongue produce each variety of tastes.
Next
stop is Merritt Estate Winery. See the tank room,
oak barrels, and their high-tech bottling line. Sample their wines
and get a lesson on wine glasses. Learn how to properly hold the
glass, check for color, clarity, “legs,” and more.
Each person will
receive a score sheet and learn how to grade each wine.
