"Mackinaw Island"

Mackinaw City, MI

Travel to Mackinaw City and from here visit Mackinac Island. The island provides a glimpse back in time to an era of Victorian affluence and the romance of horse-drawn carriages.

Day 1:

Relax aboard the coach as we make our way to Mackinaw City where we’ll check into the Baymont Inn & Suites. This evening is yours to enjoy at your leisure.



Day 2:

 

Enjoy a continental breakfast at the hotel before departing for a guided historical Mackinaw City tour which will include tours of Colonial Michlimackinac.

The day is yours to spend as you wish (enjoy Mackinaw City). Return back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner at Admiral’s Table.

 

 

Day 3:

After a continental breakfast at the hotel, depart for Sault Ste. Marie’s Kewadin Casino for some time with Lady Luck. Lunch is included at the casino.

Afterwards, depart for the Soo Locks boat tour and enjoy spending some time watching all the beautiful boats pass by.

 

Afterwards, arrive at Audies Restaurant in Mackinaw City for a wonderful dinner. Return back to the Baymont Inn for the remainder of the evening.

Day 4:

Take advantage of the continental breakfast at the hotel before boarding Arnold’s Ferry which takes us to Mackinac Island. Enjoy a horse-drawn carriage tour of the island.

Lunch awaits us at the Grand Hotel. Afterwards, taxi from the Grand Hotel to historic downtown to explore, shop, or whatever you wish (on your own). Take the ferry back to Mackinaw City to return to the Inn to freshen up for dinner at ‘Neath the Birches.


Day 5:

A farewell continental breakfast at the hotel is just what we need before the journey home. The past few days have been pleasant and enjoyed by all.

 

PACKAGE INCLUDES: Four nights accommodations, four breakfasts, two lunches, three dinners, Arnold Ferry services, horse-drawn carriage tour of the island, boat tour, historical tour, Kewadin Casino, baggage handling, taxes, and meal gratuities.

"Deluxe Cape Cod"

Boston-Hyannis-Cape Cod, Massachusetts


Massachusetts is a celebration of tradition, where you can explore charming antique shops, quiet villages, and the bustling city of Boston. Some of the highlights you’ll experience along the beautiful coastline are Martha’s Vineyard, Cape Cod’s oldest town, and a whale watch cruise.

 

Day 1:

Our unique vacation begins by traveling to Albany, New York. Upon arrival at the hotel, enjoy a lovely welcome reception. Dinner is at the hotel and your evening is free to spend at your leisure.


Day 2:

After breakfast, depart for Boston. Enjoy lunch on your own at the colorful Quincy Market. We’ll meet our guide in the afternoon who will take us on tours of the USS Constitution, the Freedom Trail, the Old North Church, Boston Common, and a drive by “Cheers,” where everyone knows your name!

We’ll continue south and check into the Hilton Garden Inn, located in Plymouth, our home for the next three nights. This evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel.

 

Day 3:

Enjoy a hearty breakfast before our guide takes us on a short drive to Cape Cod where we will enjoy the day touring the Cape. Visit Sandwich, the oldest and one of the most picturesque towns on the Cape.

Another stop will be in Hyannis with a visit to the Kennedy Memorial and St. Francis Xavier Church where many celebrity weddings have taken place.

Travel along the scenic Old King’s Highway to the tip of the Cape, Provincetown. Here we’ll have time to explore the many interesting shops, boutiques, and even time to walk the beaches!

This evening we’ll feast on a traditional New England Lobster bake, sure to please even the heartiest of appetites!

Day 4:

After a hearty breakfast, take the ferry to Martha’s Vineyard and tour this charming island. Observe the old sea captain’s homes, the famous gingerbread cottages, and gaze at the long stretches of sandy beaches made famous by the movie “Jaws.” There will be time in the colonial town of Edgartown for lunch and shopping at a leisurely pace before returning on the ferry to the mainland. This evening will feature a memorable dinner with entertainment before returning to the hotel.


 

 

 

 

 

Day 5:

Another hearty breakfast will be enjoyed before checking out of the hotel, then we’re off for Plymouth where we board our Captain John Whale Boat to enjoy an exciting whale cruise.

 

 

Have your cameras ready to shoot these gentle giants of the deep.

Lunch will be on your own on the waterfront before our guide gives us a short tour of Plymouth, known as America’s home town.

 

Afterwards, it is time to make our journey home, travelling to Albany, New York, for an overnight stay at the Clarion. Dinner is on your own.



Day 6:

After your final breakfast, we are homeward bound, leaving behind the fresh, salty air, and taking with us wonderful memories of our New England adventure!
