Menopause The Musical

Gem Theater in Detroit, Michigan

This hilarious celebration of women and the change comes to the Gem Theater in Detroit, Michigan.

So it begins; four women and a bra sale in the lingerie department in Bloomingdale's in New York, an aging soap star, a lost-in-the-sixties hippie, a power professional, and a housewife from Iowa in town with her conventioneer husband with nothing in common but a black lace bra. Hot flashes, night sweats, memory loss, hormones, chocolate binges, and life in general bring on the throes and woes of menopause.

An original parody, this is an hour and a half of laugh-a-long songs from I Heard It Through the Grapevine, You'll No Longer See 39, to that disco favorite, Stayin' Awake, Stayin' Awake.

A delicious meal is included.

President's Day

Grandparents love spending time with their grandchildren and grandchildren expect grandparents to come up with fun things to do. Well, our presidential tour in Marion, Ohio is the perfect way to spend this holiday away from school. Heritage Hall, once the city’s main post office, now houses three spectacular museums featuring President Harding’s memorabilia, the history of Marion, and the Wyandotte Popcorn collection, which has the most impressive collection of popcorn wagons in the United States.

Visit Linn School, built in 1897 and restored in 2003. The very presence of this school will transport you back in time to when tin lunch pails, pot-bellied stoves, desks with inkwells, and fold-up chairs were the norm.

Stop for lunch at the Carousel Convention Center where you will also enjoy hands-on-dessert-cookie decorating. Stand on the front porch of the home of our 29th President, Warren G. Harding, and imagine the crowd of thousands gathered to hear his inspirational speeches. Visit Harding Memorial, the final resting-place for the President and Mrs. Harding, which is the largest presidential memorial outside of Washington D.C.

Caesars Windsor Line Run

Situated on twelve acres of beautiful landscaped property, the New Casino Windsor offers exciting Las Vegas style entertainment.

The casino complex appears to "float" in a surrounding sea of trees and grassy slopes. The focal point of the main entrance is a 60 foot high waterfall ending in a pool of water on the lower level, surrounded by rock gardens, streams, ponds, and tropical plants.

Guests will enjoy two levels of gaming action with a total of 100,000 square feet of gaming space. There are 136 table games and over 2,770 slot machines to choose from.

Reservations are encouraged, and pre-payment is required for all reservations. Payments may be made in person at the office by cash, check/money order, or credit card (Visa, Master Card, and Discover). Credit Card payments may be made over the phone at the time of the reservation. If sending a check, we recommend making the reservation a week in advance so that the check arrives by the payment deadline. Payments must be received by 3 PM the day prior to the scheduled trip. For Sunday and Monday trips, payments must be at the office by 3 PM on the Friday prior to the trip.

Walk-ons (those without reservations) are permitted, but seat availability is not guaranteed. Walk-ons may pay the driver cash at the time of boarding.

• Trips into Canada require proof of citizenship. A Passport, valid or expired, or a birth certificate (original or certified copy with a raised seal), with a photo ID is proof of citizenship.
