SIGN-UP: The
sooner the better! Our policy is FIRST PAID, first honored,
and when the buses are filled, reservations are closed. However, we
will be happy to put your name on a wait-list. This helps us determine
whether another bus could be added. To avoid disappointment, we suggest
you make your reservations early and guarantee it with a check.
PAYMENT PLAN: To
guarantee your reservation for DAY TRIPS, we should
receive your check within two weeks of the day you make your reservation.
Should you make reservations for several trips at one time, ask us about
a payment schedule. Deposit is due for OVERNIGHT TRIPS
when reservations are made. A brochure will be sent to you with additional
information and payment schedule. It is important to read all materials
carefully as they contain IMPORTANT INFORMATION about the entire trip.
For your convenience,
you may pay for any reservation with your MasterCard, VISA or Discover
Cards.

CANCEL/REFUNDS: NO
show--NO refund. You must notify us of cancellations during
regular business hours. NO exceptions can be made. On DAY TRIPS,
cancel fourteen (14) days before and receive full refund. On THEATRE
TRIPS, cancel forty-five (45) days before and receive full
refund. NO refunds after these days unless a replacement is found. On
OVERNIGHT TRIPS cancel 45 days before departure for
a full refund. Exception: Certain trips may have a different cancellation
policy due to supplier demands. Detailed information is listed in individual
trip brochures.
FINAL TOUR ITINERARIES:
This information
is provided for overnight trips only. Ten to fourteen days before departure
you will receive final tour information which will include a detailed
itinerary for you and a listing of hotels, addresses, and telephone
numbers to leave
for your family. It will include departure and return information.
CANCELLATION AND HEALTH
INSURANCE: Please keep in mind that any time you leave the United
States you are NOT covered by Medicare and Medicaid. For overnight tours
we encourage you to consider purchasing Cancellation and Trip Interruption
Insurance. For more information, please call our office.
OUR CUSTOMER PROTECTION
UMBRELLA: The National Tour Associations Consumer Protection Plan
The Tour Operator's Professional Liability Insurance Licensed and Bonded
by the State of Ohio.
TIPPING: Any first class tour usually
does not necessitate tipping on your part except for services not included
in the tour. Occasional tipping may be appropriate on some tours highlighted
as a SPECIAL TOUR.
SMOKING: Smoking is NOT
permitted on the motorcoach. We automatically request nonsmoking hotel
rooms. Please advise us if you want a hotel room designated for
smokers.
SEATING: Seating on the motorcoach and
for theatre tickets is assigned in order of FIRST PAID .
. . first honored. Persons traveling alone may need to share a seat
on the motorcoach. (The single supplement costs on overnight tours are
for the hotel rooms only.)
COACH COURTESIES: Seat
rotation will take place once a day on most overnight tours. For the
comfort of everyone, we ask that you use the restroom only for an emergency.
Frequent stops will be made. Punctuality is a courtesy and extremely
important when traveling in groups.
RESPONSIBILITY: Lakefront
Tours and its affiliates act as perators and agents for
various transportation companies, hotels, buses, and contractors. We
exercise every care possible. We cannot, however, be held responsible
for personal injury or loss of passenger's baggage. Auto parking will
be at your own risk. We accept no responsibility in connection with
the service of any airplane, motorcoach or other conveyance which is
used in carrying out this tour. Nor are we responsible for delay, accident,
or loss of personal property, nor for additional expense due to storms,
floods, disruption of advertised schedules, nor other causes beyond
our control, and any such expenses would have to be borne by the passengers.
We also reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure and
in such cases all payments will be refunded with no further obligation
on our part. Lakefront Tours reserves the right to accept or reject
any person as a participant of any tour at any time.
ROOMING LIST: On multi-day tours, initial
rooming list is due 30 days prior to trip. Changes can be made up to
14 days prior.
BAGGAGE: Each passenger will be provided
with handling cost on one large piece of luggage throughout multi-day
tours. However, you may carry a small overnight case on board that will
be stored in the overhead racks on the coach. An overnight case is the
passenger's responsibility. Any items carried on the coach, such as
coolers, strollers, backpacks, or food, are the customer's responsibility.
Baggage handlers and drivers are not responsible for these items.
CANADIAN
IMMIGRATION: American
citizens visiting Canada must carry a birth certificate or passport
and photo identification (drivers license or state ID). Non-citizens
of the United States should carry a passport, visa, and necessary traveling
papers to insure entry into Canada and return to the United States.
Canadian currency should be purchased before you depart on your tour.
CASINOS: Casino bonus changes, dates,
or packages are not the responsibility of Lakefront Lines, Inc. Bonuses
are an incentive offered by a casino and are not reflected in our price.

Pay the full amount for day trips and deposits (as listed in individual
tour brochure) for multi-day tours. Payment is required within 14 days
of calling in your reservation. Your canceled check is your receipt.
It is not necessary to bring it with you when you take a tour with us.
