Come join us for an exciting autumn adventure to Chautauqua County in Western New York for a beautiful fall day and visit the Chautauqua Institute. Enjoy a one hour tour of the charming Victorian village that is world-famous for its dedication to music, the arts and spiritual renewal for people of all faiths. We’ll learn the history, secrets and stories that make Chautauqua a unique, year-round village founded on a Christian tradition for reflection of the mind and spirit. After our tour, we’ll have free time to explore the little shops of Best or Plaza, the town center of Chautauqua before we have lunch at their historic ATHANEUM HOTEL, overlooking the beautiful lakefront. After lunch, we’ll travel to Pennsylvania’s largest Mum Farm, with a chance to tour the farm by bus (if the weather allows.) We’ll have free time at Grandma Shirley’s Market, where fresh berry pies are her specialty. Our last stop is Arrowhead Winery on the Lake Erie Wine Trail, where we’ll sample locally produced wine. The tastings are complimentary, but they’ll check your ID to make sure you are old enough!
